Wine
Curly Flat Pinot Noir is made with sustainably grown grapes from the winery's Macedon Ranges vineyard. The vines grow under watchful, low impact vineyard management.
The fruit is processed in small, separate lots with varying levels of whole clusters, whole berries and crushed fruit. Like most of the variables at Curly Flat, proportions vary vintage to vintage.
After natural fermentation the wine matures on lees in seasoned French oak for 16 months. Minimal intervention prevails at the winery.
Ruby red, Curly Flat Pinot Noir has rich fleshy fruits and balanced acidity. Refined tannins deliver structure and longevity. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
